Bet India - Responsible Gaming
Bet India responsible gaming: how to set deposit and time limits, recognise problem-gambling warning signs, self-exclude, and reach confidential 18+ support helplines.
Play within your limits
The Aviator game on Bet India is designed purely for entertainment. Before every session, decide on a fixed budget, an amount you can genuinely afford to lose, and treat it no differently from money spent on a movie ticket or a meal out. A practical starting point for casual players is ₹200 to ₹500 per session. Once that amount is gone, close the game and log out.
Never use money earmarked for rent, EMIs, groceries or savings. Equally important: avoid funding your bankroll through credit cards, buy-now-pay-later apps or loans from family. If you are transferring funds via PhonePe, GPay or BHIM UPI, set a one-time transaction ceiling in your UPI app itself, most apps let you define per-transaction and daily limits independently of Bet India, giving you a second layer of control.
Keep sessions short and schedule them in advance. A 30-minute timer on your phone works better than willpower alone. Alternate gambling sessions with other activities, sport, reading or socialising, so the Aviator game remains one leisure option among many rather than the default way to unwind.
Warning signs of problem gambling
Problem gambling rarely announces itself. It tends to grow gradually through small shifts in behaviour. Watch for these patterns: spending more than planned in a single session; returning immediately after a loss to "win it back"; lying to a partner or parent about how long you played or how much you deposited; or feeling anxious and irritable on days you cannot access the Aviator game.
Financial red flags include taking a personal loan or withdrawing from a recurring deposit (RD) to fund gambling, selling assets, or finding that UPI transaction history shows gambling top-ups on days you told yourself you would not play. Emotional red flags include gambling to escape work stress, relationship problems or loneliness rather than for fun. If three or more of these signs feel familiar, act now, use Bet India's built-in tools or contact a helpline before the pattern becomes harder to break.
Deposit, loss and time limits
Bet India provides three configurable limits inside your account dashboard under Responsible Gaming Settings. A deposit limit caps how much you can add to your wallet per day, week or month, for example, setting ₹1,000 per week prevents any top-up beyond that figure regardless of payment method. A loss limit freezes your ability to place further bets once your net losses reach a threshold you choose. A session time limit logs you out automatically after a set number of minutes and displays a warning at the halfway point.
All three limits take effect immediately when you lower them. Increases, by contrast, carry a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period, this friction is intentional and gives you time to reconsider. Review your limits monthly and adjust them down if you notice your gambling spend creeping toward a meaningful share of your monthly income. Indian financial advisers generally recommend keeping discretionary entertainment spending, including gambling, below 5% of take-home pay.
Self-exclusion and cool-off
If limits alone are not enough, Bet India offers two stronger options. A cool-off period (24 hours, 7 days or 30 days) temporarily suspends your account. You cannot log in, deposit or play during this window, but your balance and account history are preserved. This is useful when you feel a gambling urge during a stressful period, a financial setback, an exam season or a family conflict, and want a forced pause without permanently closing your account.
Self-exclusion is a longer-term measure lasting a minimum of six months, with options up to five years or permanently. Once activated, your account is closed, marketing emails stop immediately, and re-registration is blocked for the chosen period. To activate either option, go to Account → Responsible Gaming → Self-Exclusion or contact Bet India support via live chat. If you self-exclude and later attempt to open a new account during the exclusion window, Bet India will close it as soon as it is identified.
